1. A simple approach
This website has no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds or third-party fonts. Accepting cookies does not enable any trackers.
2. What we store
When you choose “Accept” or “Reject non-essential”, the website stores a record named riverside-cookie-preference in your browser’s local storage. It contains your choice and the time it was saved. Both choices leave tracking disabled.
Local storage is similar to cookies in that information is kept on your device, but this record is not automatically sent with web requests. It is used only to remember your preference on this website.
3. How long your choice lasts
The site recognises your preference for 180 days. On your next visit after that period, the old record is removed and you can choose again. You can remove the record sooner by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
4. Changing your preference
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the panel and choose again. Closing the panel without making a choice stores nothing and leaves tracking disabled. If browser storage is unavailable, the website still works, but your preference may not persist.
No form entries are saved in local storage. If non-essential technologies are introduced later, this policy and the preference controls must be updated before they are used.
